Does not thicken

3 month old has extremely bad reflux and his dr gave us “gelmix” which worked beautifully but is expensive. Our insurance got us this “Resource ThickenUp”. Following to the letter with instructions doesn’t thicken nor does it thicken when treated like mixing starch (an example of a thickener that reacts when warm and thickens when cooled). I will never use this stuff again. It got ridiculous to where it was 7-8 1 tsp scoops and it still did not thicken to even “nectar like” viscosity. Will never recommend to anyone and will make sure people know when asked!

This is something I have to purchase for my elderly mother. It came so fast with standard shipping. Other times when I ordered the service people have been so helpful. It is a pleasure doing business with a company whose employees care so much about the clients. From a person who has dealt with many people on the other end of the phone line, I appreciate this service!

We bought this Resource Thicken Up in a large quantity and have really been glad that we did as we have to use it so often. After you know how much to use in each cup of glass, it is great to have it around.

I just heard about this at my daughters swallow study. We have been using Simply Thick and have been told this is very similar (and a lot cheaper) very excited to try. Has anyone switched to this from Simply Thick?
