Horrible Packaging

We have had to get this when our normal formula is out of stock. Absolutely impossible to open without making a mess! Put a screw-on cap or some way to reseal a partial for later consumption... these are not juice boxes where you can stab the straw through the foil!

My husband can't seem to keep it down. Tried twice, first 4 oz.. the next day 2oz. He vomited both times, even taking the nausea pill. Will have to call and see what can be done about changing to Ensure. He seems to be able to handle that and keep it down.

So I normally use osmolite 1.5 but they were out of stock so I got this in its place for a month. Only way I have found to use it and not get it everywhere is to use a stich ripper to cut the hole open and then use the silver tab as a pour spout after bending it. Wish I could attach a picture. Hate the packaging. Can't wait for osmolite to be back in stock!!!!!

Redo your bottle

My father is now using a feeding tube. Nutren 1.5 is what he is using. The product does what it is supposed. The low rating is due to the bottle. Very poor design. Product gets everywhere and is very sticky. Home health nurse even made a mess pouring. You have to put in a different container to put in bag. Change the bottle Nestle so you can get 5 stars

Inferior packaging

Used Osmolite for over a year for my husband with its twist off cap. Wonderful, since we have to add a partial amount for all 5 feedings. Nutren packaging is so inferior since you cannot reseal adequately to shake up for next feeding and the plastic seal under pull off foil doesn’t always come off cleanly. It can be a real mess. Even the cardboard box holding the 24 units requires scissors to start the perforations and a lot of strength after that. I am so hopeful that Osmolite will be back in stock for his next months delivery.
