Recommendable Recipes

I have a high gag reflex and didn't think I could get this down. I tried adding coffee to the first one but I don't like cold coffee or anything except cream in my coffee. I gagged and threw 1/2 away. First lesson learned: try 1/2 bottle at a time. Next attempt, I added several blueberries, 3 TBSP of yogurt and lemon - a whole quarter, skin and all. This helped a lot, chewing the lemon rind was a nice distraction fun the flavor, but it gets thinker and clumps if you don't drink it all quickly so I gagged on the last mouthful. Third time, I added 4 or 5 ice cubes, half a banana and 3 strawberries plus the yogurt and it was much better!! I decided the key is adding the ice cubes to keep it from clumping up. And day three I actually made and drank a whole one with no gagging!! I highly recommend the ice cubes and keeping all the fruit in the fridge so it's super cold. Today, I added plain peanuts with the banana version and it was good. I don't recommend using the same receipts eve time or you will get really tired of it.

Could you make something less sweet and more pleasant tasting other than vanilla? I only drink it because my doctor gave it to me.

I’m drinking it before I have surgery and also after surgery. When reading some of the reviews I expected it to taste bad. I didn’t add anything to it and it reminded me of Eggnog. I tasted a nutmeg taste. I’ve enjoyed and look forward to drinking it. If you’re on the fence just try it with an open mind.

Improved me before and after surgery

Used this before surgery for 4 days. I felt so good going into surgery. I ask for it after, but the pharmacy didn't have it. I had another case at home. It has improved my recovery at home noticeably. I am only drinking it every 3 days to make it last. I want to buy more. It is so good for my body.

Although i can’t tell you what the benefits of this are because i am still pre op, for the price of this drink it should NOT taste this bad. The fish taste is so strong i physically gag drinking this. The only reason im still drinking them is because my doctor gifted me a box. i have an axolotl and the resemblance between the smell of the fish i feed it to the taste of this drink is uncanny. maybe other flavors are better but the vanilla is so so so gross.
